The purple clouds float around the golden sun,
The sky, a deep blue signals the day is done.
As darkness comes again the stars begin to shine,
The moon glows as it has from the beginning of time.
The air from the north is cool and fresh,
It gentle flows over them and tickles the flesh.
Together they lovingly embrace the night,
Their bodies hot as they hold each other tight.
As one they experience a celestial delight,
As the world turns, under the moon and stars they unite.
The ground is wet and their bodies calm,
As they lay in each others arms.
Once again the sun rises to greet the day.
Yet again they must part and go separate ways.
For the moon and the sun the embrace is short, the days and night are long.
Yet for that brief moment between night and day, together they do belong.
