Unwitting Vampires

Swimming in a swirling sea of words

Unselfishly shared by gifted souls

We become unaware travelers

Coasting on others dreams and goals

Comforted by emotional extremes

Lost as the strangers pen ebbs and flows

We the travelers gain brief reprieve

Immersed in a strangers joys and sorrows

Slowly scars of life are stripped away

As strangers written words calm and soothe

Our eyes opened to a world beyond

Empathy turns our own ripples smooth

We revisit time from a different view

Ride frayed coattails of our fellow mans sins

Experience life through the stranger’s eyes

Thus we end…Where their story begins

Right girl . . . don't give up yourself for the benefit and agendas of others. You know I've seen this one before but it was like reading it again for the first time. It resonates well so give us more. I like the taste of your soul blood.

wonderful, and what an ending! I particularly loved the play on
'strangers'.. as for vampires, the intriguing mystery they hold in
their myth is magical.
