Within My Heart

When winter’s dream comes around

And its fury frosts the fertile ground

And its vacant howl is the only sound,

This will not fade.

When summer’s sun scorches the earth,

Killing the children of spring’s birth,

Withering their dreams and their mirth;

This will not fade.

When the wind is dry and stands still

And no water’s left to turn the mill

And fire consumes both valley and hill.

This will not fade.

When Death has come to take his due

And all his lies become what’s true

And every face is cold and blue,

This will not die.

When all the stars start raining down

To rape and pillage every town

To melt the last king’s golden crown,

This will not die.

When time’s ticking is no longer heard,

And silent is the singing bird,

And no one speaks a single word,

This will not die.

When love’s first breath entered the air

And the earth was young, alive, and bare

Our hearts journeyed together everywhere

This will live forever

When we are tired and much older

I know our love will not grow colder

And your home will still rest between my shoulders.

This will live forever.

I live now because you are my heart

And this is why we'll never part.

And the part I love is this is just the start.

This will live forever.

I am very impressed! This is just beautiful! Very deep and truly touches

where a woman needs to be touched...her heart.
