We are all one

Words fly through my head all the time
I put them to paper
Most times they rhyme
I ask to know what that makes me
A poet, a writer
A wordsmith maybe

What makes this imagination take flight
Am I different
Someone of keen insight
There is something that makes it all go
A thought process
An ability to make an idea grow

When you get down to it we are the same
All of us writers
Arranging words in our penning game
Men and women different writing styles all
Opining on life and love
The rain of words will fall

A small tribute to all of us

Very eloquent Henry.

How 'tis've captured it beautifully...and all with mere words. :)

Well said~

The way we get the words to mingle,
a cheeky tune or a catchy jingle.
The way we arrange the words on a page,
how we make words dance and become the rage.
The way we write from our hearts,
we are masters of this dying art!

I love this Henry, in the end we all have different styles, but here we are all one! Joe

Yes..! I love that line about are we different from others. It often feels that way. For most times we see beyond the walls of reality into worlds others can only live vicariously through us. Very well penned tribute my friend..!

Fantastic job, Henry, and thank you! Yes, we're all the same, we writers, but so different from the rest of the world. Most of the time we are a misunderstood group, aren't we?
Loved this tribute...
