I Thought I Knew

I always thought I understood,
How good certain things felt.
Like the magic, the music, of love.

In a instant you were there.
With that glimmer in your eyes,
Then I felt magic.

With the touch of your hand,
Resting gently in mine,
I felt softness and desire.

You wispered poetry to me,
And soon my world,
Turned into poetry.

Hearing your voice,
My heart was lifted.
I knew music once again.

As we met,
You turned my world,
Into joy and love.

So much,
I thought I knew.
Just then I met you!

Love is a real eye opener, buddy.. I think mostly what passes for knowledge is nothing more than subjective interpretation of things beyond our understanding....which is just about everything in creation...:O)...len

I love those last three lines, I wonder when and if we ever feel complete? I guess that depends on choices and decisions we make, maybe there is no complete? Your poem really got me thinking..
