Suicide Is Not The Way

I thank God
I was here last night,
If I wasn't around
You would have commited siucide.

You are my best friend
The love of my life,
I know can be hard
You have to try and fight.

You've lied to me about your back pain
For over a year now,
You have to know, I'm here for you
Taking your own life, I won't allow.

Going against God's law
Doesn't make any sense at all,
Three times, I saved you last night
There was no way, I was going to watch you fall.

I know depression and bills
Weigh on your mind,
But I will always and forever
Stay by your side.

I know the kids don't listen
To what you have to say,
But, I beg of you
Give your life just another day.

Things will get better
This is my promise to you,
I'll always give my shoulder to cry on
And be here, to help you through.

Author's Notes:

My best friend and love of my life, tried to commit suicide last night. Not once, but three times. He has also had plans to piss his brother off on purpose, to get his brother to kill him in self defence. He tried to jump off the balcony. So please forgive me, if I don't reply right away. It's still so very hard to come to terms about his depression. :'o(

Oh my sis, I am so sorry u r going through this. U r carrying a very heavy burden at the moment, but know that u have the love and support of everyone on this site. There was a time when JESUS could not carry His own Cross, remember? Someone had to help HIM, and I believe that Simon of Syrene was chosen by GOD to help when JESUS was simply too weary. We r your' Simon sis. We r all here to help u carry your' cross. If u need to talk, u know where I am...Love, your' big sister Jillian

Honey, you know I am pulling for everything to work out fine, with all I have inside me. This has to be a most extreme situation, and I cannot know all that you are going through. The write is powerfully expressive, and I just want you to know that you are a well loved person here. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help..You have our thoughts, prayers and hearts with you now. Barbie
