The fire burns inside me
Yet leaves no trace behind,
This passion, this longing,
You on my mind.

Our love, wonder's essense,
Desire that fills dreams,
So pure, so honest,
Nothing more than it seems.

Shocks raised by touch,
Such bliss, soft caress,
True beauty, true heaven,
My wish to confess.

Enfolded in your arms,
Held close to your heart,
So amazed, so breathless,
Here where magic starts.

Author's Notes:

Ah, yet another love dedication to the most wonderful person I know: the love of my life. Love you, JD. ^_^

Magic has its moment. It also ends. What remains is a passing moment of wonder.

Hey, sorry I haven't commented on any of your poems in a while. This is really pretty and I love it when you put the images with them. I haven't written any more in a long time because I've been sooo busy. Love ya, chica. See ya sometime this week.
