My mind wanders off sometimes on its own
As it travels continually like a rolling stone
Passing down thoughts that arrive at my hands
Following directions from some inner commands

Then like a snake slowly shedding its skin
Unleashing the powers of paper and pen
Releasing the feelings that some can not say
The thoughts of another help give them a way

So if you have the vision and talent for writing
Donít allow your words to ever stop gliding
By writing your thoughts, opinions and views
It could assist others still searching for clues

Be prepared to share what you hear in the air
What you see in your dreams may help repair
Someone who was struggling to make it through
And your writing just invited a brand new view

Thoughts rush around then stumble and fall into place so many times as our mind drifts off in the realms of creation, some times they make sense, others not but always insperation as is your work James.

And that is just the way it is. For me I know a write is complete when I recognize it as something I could not have possibly done. I don't feel like I'm a poet and I wonder sometimes where this verse comes from. You are right, it is the power of the paper and pen and a mind willing to open up to all possibilities. Simply a catching write. By the way, congrats on you new publication. It must be an exciting time.
