Ghost ~*~ Writer

Outside in the Twilight of alluring  light
warm wet tears falls as rain does
on long summer nights

I watch falls colored leaves
I hear your ghostly piano playing
love songs in the Autumn breeze

I think about the poems of love
you wrote to my heart some time ago

Just like a ghost writer poet
you whispered to my mind and soul

Melody  playing notes with passion words
that flow through the mind
Yes, sweetheart I always heard

I  set here  sipping the warm red wine
I let you slip back into my lonely mind
for some reason again, one more time

Wow, India...this is forlorn, soft and incredibly beautiful. The line, "love songs in the Autumn breeze" offers the short o sound in the words "love", "song" and "autumn" as well as the "s" sound in "songs" and "breeze"...that line truly does "sing".

I am placing this one on my favorites...again...beautiful!
