Rest Gently
Rest gently now my darling.Rest in your grave so secure.Know now that no one will ever bother you again.Whether it come snow—sunshine, or rain.Rest gently now darling rest in your grave so low.My love, sleep gently.Know that I love you even with you already gone.Rest gently knowing that I soon will be with you.I know that without you I cannot go on.Already, I am so lonely and blue.I know not what I will do while you rest gently all alone.

Damon this one is awesome...so very gentle and so well expressed. Like the way you displayed it too...gives the appearance of going down into a deep grave.

My goodness. This piece brings me to tears and is so very soft and tender in its acceptance of loss and the missing therein. How truly beautifull is a heart that can reach beyond and touch a soul. This piece is wonderful.
I am so pleased to have been the inspiration for such a lovely work. Thank you, and thank you for sharing it here.
~Peace always, ~Pam

Hi, Damon~
When we grieve, we tend to want to make ourselves available to dream of being with them again~ But, our time may bring many years on the calendar, and one that went ahead would wish that we make ourselves live fully~ Great pondering write, my friend..

Sad when someone leaves us, and even sadder when we have to face more time, but without them. Nice piece Damon. Barbie
