Pieced together

poetry.jpg picture by blueyedsoul_cindy

Undone

the broken fragments

that crumbled

failed to bind

you pieced  them

tenderly in your patient  way

set free by a grace

my undeserved merit

I now find my way

to sweet peace

and kiss the face

of something more dear

than anything I have ever

treasured

known

or held in sight

your heart

my soul

and that delicate mend

surrounds me

dressing  me

in the finery of you

You've done a good job with this write.  Emotional words that bring forth delicate images.

a true friend can patch us up beyond our imagination..."a delicate  mend".  Your words carry much weight, wisdom, humility, and beauty...I found a treasure on this page.  ♥

What a beautiful write. Sometimes words can say exactly what we mean.

A very warm and tender poem Cindy, you have shown love from another point of view. A friend like this is truly the type of friend that we all would love to have. Henry

a very touching write. love is a friendship set on fire, and it takes 2 to tame the flame. it is great that you have such a friend to help put you back together when you feel broken and undone. great write Cindy

Well, if you weren't writing about Jesus, then I don't know who else can be such a wonderful friend, maybe your spouse. And its beautifully presented, in word and in deed! I must confess, Im jealous of your friend and your gift of poetry. Love,
ED
