History Class
as the class recites the long rote of dead patriots i hide in the snow outside the  glass for  it may be true that the blood of patriots and tyrants water the tree of liberty but still i prefer the clear geometric chambers of snowflakes….     calm beauty of intersecting pentagrams mystic rectangles cores of parallel inwardness that finds a beauty hidden deep transparent in the river of things and a all seeing eye on a pyramid not quite finished..   for if imagination can not be free from the shackles and  perils and the biting snakes of self interest if i cannot question my intensions or my delusions  allow my selfishness to sup on my  integrity then liberty’s limbs are bare its living leaves discarded…   and i shall hang from its boughs for i cannot do evil and call it good and then snowflakes can cool my philosophiesin galaxies of swirling  blizzards and my questions shall live beyond my lips as footprints filling up with silence in a winter washed anew as another child dreams at this window....

An articulate piece of criticism, tempered by images of a lasting beauty. I adore the worlds you create for us.
