To Poets

we must write
for words struggle out
of use.
out of us in lowercase
bend words in
writing lines.
images we feed
like young birds
leading them into their
textual cages of no escape.

must we drink in language
into every pore of our being
metaphores it is no surprise
that letters come
out of the depths
and boundaries
mythology of writing
mysterious creatures
as grammar pours its spell
into worlds we craft
in quiet cursive vines
wide blank and narrow white...

we make love
without any junctions
without punctuation
for it not the living
--but how we live
in words in mere wonderment
that make the difference
as we share our vision
so others can
in difference see
a new world
that waits at the doors
in misspelled omens
unamed in strangeness….

It has been a pleasure reading some of your work today.  You have a very creative way of expressing thoughts and concepts.

And so we are...It is amazing how we feel this way whilst writing as the fluid river. I wonder, at writers block/depletion moments, what has happened to our verbal nature...

Very interesting write my friend.

Dragon~
