~~designed by Aina~~

A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square
Their love song memories taken unaware
A little confused her mind has become
Left with memories his constant hum

Alone she sits awaiting his return
The love inside passion still burns
Wonder's what's taking him so long
Echoes of music their favourite song

 Symphony sonatas illuminate the moon
Star light reflections orchestrate their tune
Memories drown out her confusion
A love so beautiful leaves no illusion

Sitting by the window missing him so
Went out seems such a long time ago
Faded pictures in need of restoration
A soul that cries lost in desperation

Looks at her fingers all wrinkled and cold
Remembers the ring is fifty years old
A tear slowly falls upon her cheek
Many years have flown seems like a week

Visual perception a realm of white light
Time to sleep in the meadow so bright
Receives a hand from heaven finds rest
Souls joined as one two hearts blessed

                                                                                                                   Love Angelxxxx

Touching write by your wonderful hand my friend. Life can be cruel to us at times and we wonder why. Your poetry is absolutely amazing to read.

Angel, this spoke so many things. We do mourn for our loved ones now gone, or perhaps certain days or events in our lives. Hard to move on, while waiting to see them again. Very creative and wistful here..Barbie
