One, Reality, Gravity, and Love

One,
A unique number.
Removable from all.
Divisible into everything,
Leaving all as new, untouched.

Reality,
Matter and energy.
Understood as strings.
Particles of these open things,
We touch in our local brane or universe.

Gravity,
Weakness understood.
A result of warped space-time.
Where we exist in this brane universe,
Apart from closed strings of its hidden sister.

Love,
A feeling between humble ones.
Felt by every particle of one's reality.
Like gravity, always pulling ones together,
A force no less beautiful, yet more subtle than all.

                                     The laws of thermodynamics
1. The increase in the internal energy of a system is equal to the amount of energy added to the system by heating, plus the amount added in the form of work done on the system.
2. The total entropy of any isolated thermodynamic system tends to increase over time, approaching a maximum value.
3. As a system approaches absolute zero of temperature all processes cease and the entropy of the system approaches a minimum value or zero for the case of a perfect crystalline substance.

Gravity attracts objects. Objects are divisible. One is a whole number. It cannot even be divided by itself.

Maybe "love" is that quantum particle making up everything, tying us all together. Joe

Hi Rich,
I agree with Len about the background, it certainly distracts from the poem...the wavy, lacy lines make it hard to read the words.

The poem itself was a brain tease...*smiles* I liked the opening and closing verses best. I believe we've experienced the scientist in you! =)) (Don't let my teasing phase you, I'm harmless!)

Lovely work!

~Barbara~

A scientific expression of something that cannot clearly be defined at all. A nice progression of thoughts. ^_^
