In Another Lips

i travel long

a smallness on aroad

must i speak

in regions beyond

question marks

in boundaries

that do not have language

how i thirst for

the smoothness of words.

drink deep sentences

only to find my

throat unresponsive.

letters kiss

my lips empty

and punctuation roams

like a hungry shadow

serpents of spelling coiling

dictionary no longer gives light --

candle i have hidden

but still i am poor

and the ruffled leaves of diction

sprout flights

out of my threadbare pockets

and dwell in anotherís

far away lips Ö.
