Love's song
I seek the solitude, I crave the peace
I long for the wings, of loves release
It calls to me, this lonely beach
Well within my grasp, yet out of reach
Oh how it sings, the most melodic song
For I hope this tune, Won't take too long
To reach these ears, that yearn to hear
The song thats been played, for many a year
To be blessed by love, oh what a gift
A wonderous present, an emotional lift
Loves song plays to many, is heard by so few
Its natures sonnet, I wish to hear it too

There is nothing finer that the gift of love - and how wonderful it is that it never runs out.  We always have more to give.  Beautiful words my friend. ~Pamela

This poem has a sing song (no pun intended) quality.

Beautifully written to express longing.

Enjoyed this read.
