~Trick Or Treat~

Halloween is coming,
the chill is in the air.
I love to watch the children,
to see what they are gonna wear.

There's scary witches, goblins,
and ghosts that go BOO.
Some nurses and doctors,
to come to the rescue.

Children of all ages,
coming to my door.
Yelling trick or treat,
words I simply adore.

This is my favorite time of year,
adults can pretend to be kids again.
Little boys can make their dreams come true,
by pretending to be policemen or firemen.

Little girls can be ballerinas,
or even a princess for a day.
They can pretend to be Miss America,
walking down the runway.

I miss taking my children,
trick or treating door to door.
I wish they could stay little,
so I can take them out like we did before.

This year my son, finally understands what's going on, it should be alot of fun.
While I'll be out talking him, I will miss seeing the kids come to my door.

OOOOOOooooooooOOOOOOOoooooo...soon the spooks will be out and about, coming to our doors for treats. It really is awesome to be anything you want for the day and what I like about it is a person never has to stop doing that. Big kids can dress up too, have fun being adventurous and go after some adult tricks or maybe some kind of adult treats...LOL!

Cute poem Tracy!

~Barbara~ *saying BOO!!! *
