Among the Trees

Days of fall

How i walk

With lost feet

 with moth- like shoe laces

many ways I shall not step

thru the cathedrals of trees

How the leaves flow

Beyond on me.

Smooth and soothing.

My scarf shivers

In the beauty.

Clumsy  thing of yarn and time.

How i look and cannot shiver

For in my simplest can only find

transparent in the leaves

the suppleness of my end of days

Filled with the scriptures

That I have hidden in the jars of my heart

And the tears upon my cheeks

as the nude moon swims

Between the chanting branches

Beyond expectations

that beckon me with a ghostlike sheen

for all shall pass like the descanting leaves

for strength is just a passing flower

for first it blooms and then it withers

and so i shall pass meekly

into the halls of no return

with the singing of sparrows

of my scriptures

and a lamp no other eye can see

shall provide fullness to my empty hands…

Yes, that is the way isn't it....sounds like you have summarized the grand plan true it is that we shall only be an unseen glimmer one day...perhaps it can be felt? well, ashes to ashes....and life in between.

Well writ my friend.

Best wishes,

Andrew~! Your work is priceless to read~! Your imagination just explodes from your pen onto parchment~! I love this, as we strode along with you among the trees...
