These Eyes
 They whispered softly
Beckoning from across the room
And in and instant you were sand
Weakened by an ocean of waves
Pulling you under
Washing you in a shimmery gaze of bluethese eyes...Captivate you
Intoxicate you
Liquidate you
Devastate youYou said that they had the power to slay you
Bring you to your knees
And you could never be the same again
So very penetrating
Piercing you to your very core
Striking your beating heart withinthese eyes...Read you
Know you
Stir you
Move youThen ever so sweetly
 You succumb to their power
Drawn into their deep beauty and reckless wanting
Heating you, raising more than temperature
Luring you to a magical place
And helplessly you surrender to the meltingthese eyes...Entice you
Seduce you
Strip you
Bed youThese eyes warm you in every measure
They hold you in a beam of light
Helplessly slain by their intensity
In your abandonment
She conquers your kingdom
And you are hersthese eyes...Touch you
Hold you
Kiss you
Make love to youthese eyes...You cannot resist

now here's a woman who knows and understands the powerful rays that emit from her the power of the moon over the tides...I have a feeling your eyes are etched on the hearts of many...♥   first stanza is dynamite!

You do have beautiful eyes......I'm just glad you don't have Rodney Dangerfield's eyes, wouldn't that be a kick? Sorry Ms Cindy, just got carried away. You do write some beautiful poems!

Yes, I myself have been captivated by a few pair of eyes in my lifetime. It can be an overwhelming feeling being caught in the spell...

The eyes tell it all, they are the window into the soul, they can also bring down a King! Excellent writing. Henry
