Who We Really Are
We're dead...
Cold inside,
No where to go,
No place to hide.

In a world with no soul,
They cry in the night,
But they are not heard.

Of the ones that have lived,
No longer remembered,
No one gives a shit.

Streaming down people's faces,
What difference does it make,
Nothing it erases.

Being born and dying,
Soon to never be known,
Or even worth replying.

We are dead,
but we can surely live,
It is up to us,
do we still want to give?

Alone, if only we choose to be,
know that others can make us whole,
It is good to cry at night,
it can cleanse our needing soul.

Dreams, they can be within reach,
they have to be worked hard for,
Life is not all materialistic,
the meaning is so much more!

Tears,always of sadness,
some tears can be for laughter,
Time to get awat from the madness,
and look for that happily ever after.

Lives, new ones being born every day,
it is called the circle of life,
Gone the old, but never forgotten,
pain that cuts like a knife!

Terrific write Michelle, this was just my take on things, Joe
