Leaves of my thoughts

The key was cold

Upon the smallness of my hand.

Like the mantle of the moon

silver in the rustling of months

Forgotten  the door was

perhaps  no longer existing

No longer standing,no longer named

in mountains that have long

slipped in the sea of uncertainty--.

But still the key

Gave strength

the suggestions of words

beyond the manifestation of a tongue

how i hungered for a naming

beyond the darkness of my deeds…

Keyholes on the other side of dreaming

i enter new worlds

By the lack of remembrance--

The creatures come

Stippling strangeness in the most

Uncontrollable counterways

For the beauty of their ways

Twinkle in the shadows

Of my incredulity and poverty of my lacking…

 geometries unspoken

But still i think

i know them

Somehow

As the hidden ones in my soul

Find boundaries of escape

As an apple tree realizes

Its fruit in coming months

As the leaves of my thoughts

turn scarlet and golden

in patient gentleness.

BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS... YOU BREATH YOUR ROMANTIC WORDS AS WHISPERS IN THE PAINTED LEAVES..

I agree with Andrea...it is very musical.

This one seems to have flowed of itss own onto paper?

Nice poetry Andrew.

Best wishes,
Pamela
