Under The Merest Leaf
Water how coldIs the bottom of a pailHow the moon floatsIn silver of your depths.Images how you emergeFrom the other side of mindSpoken beyond language on  tip of spirit’s tongue… This body that I was loanedFlexibility long worn outIs not sufficient for the taskTo reflect in the beautifulLuminous expanseTo pour youhumbly into wordswithout eloquenceIs all i can doand you pour my spiritInto the farthest starReach imagination’s cageunder  the merest leafMy name is hiddenAs a world is lootedin the shadow of a single hour…..

Fascinating Andrew :o)

I enjoyed the opening stanza...I dont know if its imagination...but I could see you walking under the moon, carrying a pail of water and becoming inspired poetically by the enchantment you create in your own mind, with the most mundane tasks.

I enjoy the way you make the mindane magical, and weave your deep thoughts into mystical metaphors.

Great poem, friend.
