What is unspoken

How good it is to be worn

Without a need

Or the means to obtain

Smooth Ribs yearn for fullness

For what is beyond me.

Threads I do not pull

Shoelaces I do not mend

In mediations of awkward feet…

To be whole is a dream

As Wind remember

The secrets of grass and hills

Like my flesh remembers

What never has been–

In the fall winds

Much is blown

And likewise hidden

My skin gleams

with ghost memories

That blow from words

Turns the pages of my inwardness.

Still I turn molecules of ink

Into forgetfulness wrinkled

Perhaps like a caterpillar

i seek

The confinement in my words

In the thorn petals of their grammer

The silk of letters

But change has long

Laid cold in the grave

Of my complicity…

Ink unstained

In a prison i have strewn

With the simple spiral of a pencil

Merest prayer cannot you live–

as graphite Promises loss of sharpness.

Growing dim in other side of shadow

That waits boundaries

at the ends of prairies.

But still cannot find itself

Inside the contours of spacious words

For the light of joy glimmers softly.

Warms most fully in quietness

For it cannot steal what is not spoken....

Yeahhhh!!! Bravo! :o)
Bluefish is back! :o)

This is awesome Andrew~

All so very complex isn't it...life and love...universal plights.
We all make our paths and it is not always what we would like, as you mention in the first lines.

Love the depth you possess and present in your words.

Great work my friend. :o)

Hugs,
Dragon~

ANDREW
SOMETIMES UNSPOKEN WORDS ARE THE MOST POWERFUL LOVE IN THE WORLD..For the light of joy glimmers softly.

Warms most fully in quietness

For it cannot steal what is not spoken
