Hurricane Katrina

She whipped through New Orleans
Tore so many lives apart,
Left such devastation behind
It really hurts the heart.

It packed a wallop, that's for sure. What took a thousand years to create, was washed away in a day. Very nice again Cynthia, Joe

I like your poem, but it looks like on the TV that more wind damage was done in Gulfport and Biloxi, MS than in New Orleans. New Orleans definitely flooded worse though.
