Poet, of all things

Greeted by dawn or dusk

He is ready

To unfurl the sky with colors

Flowing from his pen

Magic is his guest for breakfast

Wisdom joins him for his late evening walks

The smallest creature

Rippling through the enormous stream

Opens its core

Wide for him

He touches toxic weeds unharmed

Reaps armfuls of beauty

And never keeps a prisoner

Inside his ribcage

We are ready to be stunned

By what he claims

To be our world

In his words

As the "product of his loins", as he likes to call me ... I can tell you that you nailed it. I didn't read the dedication at first and was on my way to comment on this near perfect verse. In context, it is truly a perfect piece in my mind. Bravo.

I haven't heard of this Ceter Pooper guy, but this is a very poetic dedication, Heiki..
He's not related to the South Hampton Poopers, by any chance is he? Very old money, you know. His father made a fortune  in the South Hampton donkey porn industry back in the eighties...len

Amazing summing up of a fantastic guy. His poetry "kills me" in the nicest possible way.
I am proud to know him

Oh, how will he enjoy this! He is all this and more. You somehow went to the core of things, like you knew him since always, but I guess his poetry reveals him. This poem is beautiful and touching and I feel the urge to thank you for it. Thank you :)

Heike- It is one of the best things about poets and poetry; Its the ability to put into printed word a picture so abundantly colorful that the reader can come away from the experience with a sense of having seen what painted in words.
Nice work young lady.
