Perfect My Solitude
Nothing like love to make you alone.
Reach for her heart like ocean longs to meet sky.
Only her love can bring such emptiness
A wave that reaches and falls, no one to hear.

Emptiness, envelop me.
Complete me, love, in your way.
Perfect my solitude and desolation.

Only love can make you want to be alone
When you know the truth and crave insanity.
Only her love can leave such emptiness
Screams of pain against black night never echo.

Envelop me, love.
Let me feel the pain.
Perfect my solitude and resolution.

Worlds apart a mean and torturous path.
I awake, your dream already left my head.
I need to be away from this cruel hell.

Realizing just how short my time left is.
Days squandered on people and business.
I need my emptiness to see your face.

I'm going to have to think about this one, Rich. It is beautifully written, but it leaves me feeling cold, desolate and haunted. I think that was your intend with this write, so you have succeeded in spades... Jude

Rich...you poured your heart into this write, and it shows so beautifully how you think and feel.
Very touching and haunting, indeed!

Incredible poem your imagery put me into this poem and allowed to feel your emotions. Your words speak loud and clear to the reader so touching reaching out to touch their hearts as it did mine
Excellent
