Days Of Fire And Of Ice

The days of fire

Are over now

The days of ice has come

Your words like thin

Leaves burn

Off the tree of your tongue.

Why am i ashes

Ice cubes of  a voice

Forlorn sparrow

Forgotten  dust

Shadow Scattered

 upon cold cobblestones

Plummet in catacombs

 of others dreams

Unnamed like a fading star

Of a monstrous constellation.

Pour jars of perception

In depths of unspoken  reply….

My only joy

To be  lost within the winds

Whelp of time turning arrows

For  nothing can burn forever

in this world of crude material

another world awaits better pattern

for completion and for calm reflection

end of need of combustion

as angels gather blessings

for the gorgeous

snowflakes kiss

with ample lips

the cloak i leave behind…..

Very beautiful write. I read in this a searching or yearning for betterment. Your words used are well thought out. The analogy slices to the core.
