Shines Through

Shines Through

A portrait falls

To the shadows of my mind

Brush strokes paint

The sorrows I find

Colors blend

The feelings of pain

From the pallet is told

The oil is to rain

Found it somehow

Tell me you must

Victory soon

Your pen I do trust

Pick it up

Look at it still

You hold my heart

Take it you will

Caress it gently

Help it heal

Stop the bleeding

Love to reveal

New friend I have made

By my side are you

In service to him

His love shines through
