The Griffon Of Gleaming typewriter

Oh griffon of gleaming  typewriter

How you whisper how you clatter

In the weave of metallic keys

As orphan children find their peace

In the ink stained gothic space…

As the shutters of the windows

Chant against the star painted walls

Of midnight and the small expanse

Of my experience exposes emptiness

Emergence of  otherness

Notes of heavens songs.

How you ink word after word

Exposing the molecules of other worlds

Angles That lie hidden in invisible smile

of inscribed keys  as they stamp

upon a ghostly paper

fluttering edges of ivory…

Dreaming of unknown moons

And creatures that are contained in words…

How my unknowing fingers paint by line

A griffons deep mysterious rhyme

Before stone was made

Or water wrought

Feather and fur you guard with beak

And press upon the warding rune of my soul

And the narrowness of my bed seek

Snuggles close

And mind does shrink

And i live a curious rind of shadow

Behind As words like constellations flow

As your beak and sharp talons on the keys

Does seek

A portal beyond the clock ticking tomb

And the children of my imagination roam

in the crystal honeycomb of galaxies…..

When you put this poem on, I was glad another one has come and the "Last poem" wasn't the last. Beautiful. And I hope many others will come, Andrew.
