Strumming Words
fly in the darkness
loaned bird of my soul...
For i shall play
the strings of words for you...
Strum with the limitations of my heart
Moonlight may not always light the way...
for even the moon may one day die
its luminous garments
shall never find footsteps silent.
Shrouds of forgetfulness--
never shall love take flight
to be lost in darkness
spilling into nothingness...

Make your own light
from the beauty that
waits within you
measures beyond
the prayer of my voice...
As lilies grow from
the merest seeds of letters
to shine within the darkness
scriptures of great price
for  the shadows of this world
time is short
as galaxies spin with gentleness
of your words and mercies
beyond description
abound in the simpleness of notes ....

Andrew~
"The moon may one day die..

Exactly!~..guess this is why I am so attached to the Moon..
Causes me to express my inner light and the semi-tapped beauty within myself..make sense?
Wonderful write~
As always,
(*Moon~
