Across the whiteness of page

Across the whiteness of page
my words trudge
in the ivory of paper..
How they seem stronger
than my ineffectual flesh.
As they swarm into
patterns beyond my halting reading
beyond the glistening
 metallic typewriter's keys
chanting ....

Crossing their own patterns
How they combine beyond the trail
of my ink and ribbons...
Laughing at the child on the other side
of white paper
whose fingers has caused--
the bare suggestion of  griffens
to be released and arise
to cull the monstrous misspellings
that forbode the ending
minotaurs of breath filled poem
as a new world folds
from the inside out
and margins are realized...........

Andrew! I checked your page for awhile to see if you'd posted anything new, but you were busy elsewhere. I finally stopped checking. I heard you were back with us and I am delighted! I now have new stuff to read from Sir Andrew and I was not disappointed. Wonderful images, teasing pictures unfold as you read down the lines. Beautifully done, bard - Savanah
