Our Moonlight
Eyes turned upward
Our silence side by side
Gathers dreaming thoughts
And lore of the gods
We hold in the minds wandering.

Our celestial gazing
Will remind
On tomorrows’ nights
One after another
That we share that vision
From miles apart
Only a voice away.

Your moonlight
Will be my moonlight
Held within the palms of our hands
To be sent across space
Line by line, word by word.

And when I stare at her beauty
Loneliness shall fade
Knowing you are there
Holding dear your own vision
Of a place in your heart
That can never be taken
And a bond never broken.

The total strength of devotion within this work, allows the reader to be within your thoughts~ It is a beautiful poem, one that exudes togetherness, even a breath away......Very nicely penned, Ann, and what a delight to find this gem on this gloomy day.....
The Bag lady, watchin' the moonlight on the corner....
