His Son-For Glata~3

His Son

Someone once asked a friend of mine

If she had an answer that would define

Where it is that Jesus came from

And how do we know he was Gods son

She asked me if I could help her out

And erase all of this child’s doubts

Is there a way to show some proof

And shed some light upon the truth

I gave this question a lot of thought

Pondering all that we’ve been taught

When all of a sudden it came to me

I could explain this inquiry so easily

Since the beginning of mankind’s creation

We so often failed our tests of temptation

That God sent a special chosen son

To try and find out what was going on

But from the first day of his sons arrival

The population still expressed denial

He grew up trying to spread the word

Yet so many found his beliefs absurd

The believers began to be convicted

Soon all of his followers were evicted

And because we feared all his conceptions

They found him guilty of deception

He was beaten and nailed upon a cross

But his messages did not get lost

Some still believe in it today

His wisdom never went away

So if it’s been said we’re all Gods kids

Then the answer to this question is

If God is the father of everyone

Then Jesus too would have been his son

Author's Notes:
About a year ago, My dear friend Glata wrote me explaining
how she had received a letter from someone asking how
she knew for a fact that Jesus was Gods son.
Glata was not sure how to answer this question so she
asked me if I could help her out. I created this poem the
following day as my answer. No one knows what can only
be trusted in faith and belief, for that depends solely on your
mental state and how you've seperated the illusion from the reality.

hey...your inbox is full...I still love reading over this...It's a great reminder even to those of us who have been raised as Christians. I find myself questioning my own common sense at times and this brings me back to understanding...

Love you, Brother mine...
Glata

Hey Mr. James, I've never heard it explained this way but it is as good way as any. One thing I learned that opened alot of doors of my mind was when Moses was talking to the burning bush and he ask "Who should I say sent me, What is your name?" and the voice said "I AM!" Later I learn that when JESUS was brought in front of the elders of the temple and was asked who he was.....he said "I AM!" In their mist was the GOD who had talk to Moses. Sorry, I was just rambling......"HEY JAMES, GOOD WRITE!

James this is by far the best explaination I have ever read on this topic. I myself have questioned this very thing, you have answered my questions and explained in a very outstanding form. You have outdone yourself and I am sure Glata appreciated all of your help.
Yours............Tracy

James,
i have always questioned my beliefs in god and in the last year just gone, because of a few things i have been through i was certain there was never a god. But i am constantly at war with myself with this very question..for i have witnessed and been at the recieving end of miracles. So i ask myself everyday is there? or isn't there? i guess i'll know for sure one day.
glata must be very proud of this piece, hopefully it helped her out ;)

I love this! Alot of people who have been hurt in some way think God and Jesus are not real. For if he were the world would be so much better. In my heart and soul I have never doubted God for I survived what many wouldn't. God never left me he helped me get through to be who I am today. This poem says so much I could never express! You have really told it the way people will understand!!

Again I am awed with this beautiful write, and it was a perfect answer to my young friend's question. It is also another proof that you are a fantastic writer that sees beyond the norm.
