The Virtue Of Paleness

The pail of my thoughts

Pour quietly.

Swiftly Secret fish

Cannot speak pour lost

into incidence or vortex .

No mater what gentle word

may live in my breath

vertex of letters flow.

i comb my hair

As darkness speaks

In eloquence of star stained space

And in my paleness

i remain in wordless darkness

As virtue climbs

The ordinary ladders of my soul

Transparent hides in the wallpaper

Of others perceptions

And my toes

Ponder their smallness.

Sir Andrew, the first two lines are sterling. It whispers to me of quiet desperation. This is one of those rare verses that will speak different stories to different people. These are the ones that the poet doesn't own or control....the reader does. Again, I bow to the master - SavanahB
