Your request that I work overtime
Is an unforgivable, wretched, heinous crime

For I already feel barely alive
Working my mundane and trite nine to five

And so now you wish to work me dead?
Please why don’t you just go take one of my kidney’s instead!

I am not married to this job, it is not my wife
So stop infringing upon my social life!

I do not wish to work, to be productive and to think
So let me go home, to sleep and to drink

Instead you wish to lock me in my cubicle, my very own prison cell
Where I feel so cold and so alone, like a boy who fell down a well

Why the fuck did I ever leave school?
One thing is for certain, it was the mistake of a fool

Please don’t make me stay longer, I miss my pillow and my brew
Like Pedro once promised, “make all my wildest dreams come true!”
