Dirty Phil
Yes your floor may be very dirty
And your girls may be very whorey
Yet we’d run to you in first year
To beat your cover and to consume cheap beer

Oh, we’d tolerate the freaks with spikes,
Those incorrigible, little punk rock tykes
Because we enjoyed reaching our drunken state
A haze and numbness; a most divine fate

But you took away our precious free cover
Leaving us to pay and to suffer!
And you raised your prices year after year
A financial woe that caused more than a tear

And now when we go, we see the emo kid
A depressive little wanker that I wish the world would rid
Who listens to Dashboard Confessional as he combs his hair at night
Yelling ‘Screaming Infidelities!’ with intolerable girlish fright

Oh dirty Phils, why did you change with time?
Would have staying the same be that much of a crime?
Yes, this burden on my mind has finally taken its toll
And now, alas, I must find a brand new watering hole
