Things Of Yesterday
Snow banks
How you hide
the mystery of dead leaves.
How their characters dissolve
In chilling ground.
Shiny icy planet
You crunch
Under the dragging of my feet.
You have no luminous rings
Except within the riddle of my ears.

My footprint spell
Out unquenchable love or perhaps
At least a unfillable watchfulness
As i walk around ancestral houses
Forgotten calligraphy frozen
Dripping from the ends
of logic’s rain gutters..

The house of death calls
To me from the nexus of snowflakes
Replicating comforting
Geometric patterns
Whisper of mysterious deepness
Chanting things of yesterday.

It is not my time
As symbolic goldfish
Swim in the chambers of my heart
For i have many footprint to write
In the cold whiteness of the world
Some about love
but most are about going home
i humble leave them
But the virtue of the winds
Covers them from discovery…
