“Beauty's Circumference “
The spread of trees
have us in their branching arms.
How the leaves speak
and the bark does sing.
Each twig foretells
a new tomorrow
how the notes are green
and woody.

Little sparrow
long have we escaped
the darkness of yesterdays
while the future waits
candelabra in gleaming riddle
of future.

Once you lived in me
in the shabby corners
and squalor of my luminosity
but my eyes were lose
so you have left
through the hazel cage
the protection of my mind.
Your feather no longer found
in the smallness contours of my thoughts

How drafty is my heart
without you.
Now we travel
in many strange lands.
But you are my moon
and i the merest suggestion
of a shadow without rest
without nest trapped within
the unobtainable moonlight
of your beauty's circumference.

As sad as this is...for it drips of heartache, I soak up the beauty of your expressions.

Excellent!
