Inward Mistletoe
You cannot see the mistletoe of my mind
Mistuned is my heart i cannot strum the strings
Of my incompetent harp.
My cleverness dims in innocence..
You can not detect the simple leaves
and berries of my thoughts yearning
My dreams are just dreams
Stuffed with straw and fantasies
How it burns in the fire of reality.
Crackles in its unimportance…

i to you am the emptiness of corners
You to me a world hidden in gentleness
How the secrete berries
make my lips blush
A deep red…

Not in envy but in sorrow
That they will never brush
The complicated wreath of you mouth.
How i hang over you
Never to be noticed
Because of the complication of ceilings.
For my worth is hidden in silence
As the festivities of life go one
Without me
For you are a holiday i cannot spell
And my inward mistletoe contuse to glow
in the fresh snow of kindness…
