Bitterness

The day was bitter
so i drank it deep.
What darkness with
its tricking feet swirled
down the stairs
of the throat of my soul.
That which
is hard to taste
is always
hidden in the future.
Like an unknown moon
in an invisible sky.

What is prepared for me
i must except in its fullness
for i am too incomplete
to dream
So gentleness will offer
its simple coat
and a place to sleep
The day was bitter
so i gave it peace...

"That which

hidden in the future"....or it may be hidden in the past too.

It feels like you came to terms with the bitterness...if you can put it to sleep then you can find peace.

Very nice!

ANDREW,
SOME TIMES THE PAIN IS SO BAD
WE JUST LET THE HEART GO TO SLEEP
SO YOU CAN'T FEEL THE PAIN SO DEEP INSIDE...LOVE ~ SHE
