Sparrows And Sorrows
I Often hide you in my eyes
like strange sparrows
in the tatters of of manhood
how i misspell my sorrows
into to something better.
i felt the necessity of your feathers--
comfort of your radiant plumage
it seem dangerous somehow
to let you afflux
into a disapproving world
For many barbed arrows remain
to bring you down
liquid birds
of unnameable enemies wait
to trap you in thickets
for trophies or sport...
.
My spirit is cloud
of raindrops
how my heart
wish to share you
with the world.
But it is hard
for in me is a secret shyness
a moon turning translucent in my center
in its languid seasons--
a warrior must remain silent
and keep their words sharp
or many monsters wait beyond
the shadows of thoughts....

For as the passing world
turns in its manifold purpose
with luminous patterns..
You may no longer fly
as my weakness
in my unknowable body.
As i burn not so brightly
and lameness tames me.
Please just take the silent stream
down curves of my checks
and twinkle like friends
in the shadows of dimples
as you sing your wordless songs
beyond the undressing of eyes
and only the floor of my mind
will hold your memory.....

Breathtakingly beautiful...your words are passionate...yet coated with melancholy.

I love this one!
