Mazes
Life is mazes in the eye
Ever walking with a sigh.
Memories flow down shiny retinas
Why the body writes sestinas
In hidden tattered places.
Minotaur is coming
In infinite regression.
Hair is coming to its winter
The head shines in its hairless snow.
Eyebrows with a smile turn to gray
As the ears begin to sag
The heart begins its long decline
Its chambers contain misplaced harmony
Yet still within my lips it seems
My hope intermingles with my blood
And so my lips glow a foreboding red
and my smile glows in the coming darkness
and a dimple of a song
nests in my consciousness..

A poem to get lost in... too many memorable lines to quote but one. Keep it glowing, Andrew!

The youth of soul inside the age of body, sometimes pathetic, most of the times divine...
