Shaken
Once the fields of my soul
there was calm.
There we met among
the mysterious trees
and compounded wonder of sky.
Better than a dream was your
gift of flesh
your skin seemed to glow
your hair flowed
sheltering me dark forest
and fluttering lashes..
You were beautiful
in my imperfection
how each part of you
seem to encompass me with reflection
completed me as i puzzled over you..
Not so much to worship your flesh
but a deep deliverance
to that which was inside you
For you taught me reverence beloved.

The curves of your neck where golden
such a tenderness on its sweeping contours
on the warm surface of its trembling.
Your neck a source a river
for flowing words
and you hide your true treasure
in your lips upon your seductive tongue.
Your words radiant creatures
that populated my secret woods.

Now my soul is storm swept
and the raindrops contuse fluid
in the spaces of my thoughts
your words have turned into unicorns
and have hidden in the mists
of subconscious mountains--
beyond intuition's harvest thorns await,
as the mermaids of my tears
cannot find comfort beyond
the tempest that surges
in the depths of my eyes.
For you have disappeared
and your words
have become transparent
undesired in my mind
and i a am numb for
foundation of my soul
has been shaken.
