Tracing Shadows
There is something in you
that is waiting
somehow special
a hidden thing formless
sometimes it rustles in your hair
unnameable and peaks out the windows
of your eyes untraceable
as from what world it is looking from
i cannot guess..

i have failed at riddles
i always pick the wrong branch
of possibility
just like you suggested
i would do.

You are nameless
But i must always walk past dark houses
and i am quite sure
from the light
i see exiting from your
the fleshy house of your flowing body
and your spirits smile.
That it is meant for someone else
so there is nothing for me to do
but watch the leaves simplicity
As they try to follow
the tracks of my shadow
tracing down the hallways
of a passing world.

Brilliant work, Andrew! It radiates a feeling of melancholy that I can relate to so well...

This is simply beautiful. It is weird though that, although I somehow have almost full comprehension of this poem, I have no words to express that...
