Your Heart Always Knows The Sun
It is hard i know
my little balloon
it is hard to love the sun
but try as bravely as you can
lofting past
the farthest coldest
boundary of the sky

But for what other purpose
is your buoyancy?
try to reach and you must
find the Edges of the atmosphere.

For that is the riddle
of the chamber of your being.
The mystery of feeling--
the first thing
the heart sets its course upon.
Is that which the heart
will ever set its paths.
Whether for dread or for bliss…

So my little balloon
The moon may try to fool you
but your heart will always know the sun.
