Libations Of Imagined Corners

The water lathers
in its fluid dream.
As i wash the radiant cloak of my soul.
The steaming water debates
the finer points of consciousness
between my toes.
Wrinkles them with insight beyond my limitations.
Prayers seem to erupt from wafting bubbles
as they make their ending on the ceiling--
as the ancient wooden planks of the walls
count their blessings...

i shall always clean
the smiling countenance of my being.
For each child lost aspects
in the mysterious confines of this world's
sleek libations of imagined corners.

Newborn beings
must let wisdom cleanse them
in swirling soapy knowledge
as they sit in giggling tub of introspection...

As the the thirsty moonlight splashes
against the banister of night
leaking slowly into the trembling waters
of transcendental tub.
oh dirty moon i shall share
my bath with you
and then we both shall gleam
in pale understanding
as the nighttime skies bathe
changeabout, toward morning.
