You say all you must to create a marvelous poem however the two short verses seemed abrupt--which takes nothing away from the poem itself but gave me a sense of urgency--which I certainly hope was NOT intentional. Love it! =)

This reminds me of the leaves I saw today. Screaming both in color and in the wind as it blew by. Nice one. aaron

I know the feeling, Roger...I always get an empty feeling in my gut whenever I see those geese heading south..I like the V-shaped lifeline reference...One thing about life...It seldomly has a happy ending...len

Rodger...it is a treat to read your writing. Beautiful! Loved your comparison and the repeat of the last line.
Kind regards,

I hold the same V-lines
in the palm of my hand
and someday, I will go too
and be with them.
I am helpless in this.
.. These lines are priceless at first I didn't understand what you meant.. then it hit like a ton of bricks... Your an amazing writer I have grown to respect and admire your poetry thoughts... Thank you once again for commiting of my mortal humble poems.. ~ Your friend ~ She Whispers
