Don't.

Don't try to take my heart,
I want it here with me.
It's a heart made for one
So what you want, we cannot be.

Don't give me your words,
Save them for another one
who will have words just for you;
For your words leave me with none.

Don't give me your heart,
my hands are far too small
to hold the love you offer,
to catch you when you fall.

Don't try to love me,
It's the the one thing that I lack.
Please don't ever love me
'Cause I can't love you back.

	Surely someone who feels so deeply and writes with so much honest emotion and true understanding of the human condition is capable of love. 	I liked the title of this. One simple word, and I think it summed up the thoughts within well. Loving someone os a mighty heavy load sometimes, and takes great strength at times too. Maybe you don't want it now, and maybe you won't ever want that kind of love, but there are many different kinds, and one is sure to find it's way to your heart.
