On Episode III
Closure
That's what this one's about.
If you've watched the rest
You know what's coming.

Effects simply dazzle!
Action will make you frazzled!
At the top of it's genre it is.
You'll never leave once you're here.

The Chancellor shows his stripes
Undoes the Jedi in a single quick strike
The future hinges on love and disipline
As so many things actually do.

Suddenly, things start to feel familiar
And your mind begins to warp
Back to music and scenes you nearly recognize
From all of 28 years before.

Prepared, you think you can hold
When the final scene unfolds
But you'll be like your neighbors
Affected, and absorbed by tragedy.

After the emotion drains you'll stare,
Think of friends and great times shared
As the tale unfolded over 3 decades.
You always had one to look forward to.
Another one, I hear probably not.

But as one generation loved this one
I know future children would love more.
As for me,
I have the closure I did seek.

You're the best George!

I like this one (I'm a star wars nut!). Though I think "As the tale unfolded over decades three

Another daring tale was to come, As I hear the story might be done" Might work better. ::shrugs:: But I love it just the way it is. "I know future children will love it more" (future tense?).

My god...that song again...
You seemed to be right on the money tho. I went and saw Episode III over the summer and it was a really cool movie. Makes me kinda wish I'd actually seen 4-6 more than once in a span of 10 years...Hmm...Yoda owns, Vader was pimped out, and we got to see a Obiwan/Anakin fight. What more could one ask for in a star wars movie?

I feel that as good as these three were, the original three had better plots and scripts. Terrific overview here and the music is a great touch, Joe

Yes Thank you George..! The point of this movie that blows me away every time I see it is the point where Palpitine tells Vadar that he killed Padame and it's this point I truly proves what I have told everyone over the years. And thats that Vadar is a tragic figure and shouldn't be feared but more pitied for his fate..! Excellent piece my friend..!

George isn't the only one that dazzles! You didn't do so bad here yourself, Rich! I think we should all bow our heads and make raspy breath sounds like Darth Vador in respect for the end of a dynasty! Great piece, Youbie Newbie...dang, that sounds kind of like a new star wars character....George! George! Wait up George, I've got an idea!

Fletch, nice technical assistance here!

I was one of those people camped in front of the theatre for Episode III. I wasn't around when the originals came out, so I couldn't miss these.
Episode III was amazing. It was full of exactly what I like to see- high-flying, fast-paced lightsabre action.
I'm a huge Star Wars fan- but I'm more a fan of the story than the movies.

I loved a bit that Dave Letterman did on "The top ten things, heard outside the theater where the folks were camped out, waiting for the new Star Wars installment...
"Number one>>>>> "If I had a girlfriend, what would she say?"
